Our custom designs in steel rails are all tailored to meet the aesthetics of a home and personal tastes. Our sales people will work within the home owner's budget throughout the entire project, to successfully give them a quality manufactured and installed product at a competitive price.
Steel Studio International can incorporate an extensive range of materials together with stainless steel to give the home owner a balustrade, handrail or staircase that will suit their building style and personal taste preference. Our popular systems include a variety of glass and the use of either tubular stainless steel or laser cut profile posts, and also a range of tubular intermediate steel rails. We can also incorporate timber elements and cable into our designs.
Detailed shop drawings are issued to the client for approval before manufacturing and installation commences, so that the client is completely satisfied and informed of the design that will be installed into their home.
Our sales people are qualified to recommend the correct grade of stainless steel for your railings. There are two basic grades of stainless steel that are used for balustrades, handrails and staircases. Grade 304 is the basic chromium-nickel austenitic stainless steel and has been found suitable for the widest range of applications. This type has excellent resistance to corrosion from exposure to weather. It is the grade which is normally used for interior and exterior applications. Grade 316 offers more corrosion resistance through the addition of molybdenum. This type is desirable where severe corrosion conditions exist, such as coastal environments and in close proximity to swimming pools.
