King Shaka International Airport – KwaZulu Natal – Balustrade value R12 Million Steel Studio International had the opportunity of installing Balustrades in South Africa’s third International Airport, located in the heart of KwaZulu-Natal. This project was recently completed just before the Soccer World Cup 2010. Steel Studio’s balustrade designs now proudly greet local and international visitors.
OR Tambo International Airport – Johannesburg – Balustrade value R21 Million Steel Studio International was proud to be invited and involved on the refurbishment of the central terminal building of South Africa’s major international airport. A balustrade project that took almost 18 months to complete resulted in several kilometres of stainless steel balustrades throughout the airport.
Deneys Reitz - Alice Lane Towers – Sandton – Balustrade value R1.5 Million This iconic new Sandton landmark with its intricately designed structure is no doubt soon to grace the cover of many architecture and building magazines. Steel Studio International used their balustrade design initiatives and quality craftsmanship on the multi-level glass bridges to achieve a product that perfectly complements this exquisitely designed building. Sandton City Shopping Center Upgrade – Johannesburg – Balustrade value R5 Million This prestigious shopping center has been long overdue for an upgrade. Steel Studio was able to bring the complexity of the Architects design to life by combining laser cut stainless steel post profiles, timber elements, glass and intricate leather detail. Steel Studio is extremely proud to be have been part of this project and working alongside the professional individuals behind the design and execution of this project.
Raddison Hotel – Mozambique – Balustrade value R1.7 Million This prominent new hotel in Maputo with hundreds of meters of glass balustrade designs should be opening its doors to international visitors before the end of 2010. The Raddison in Mozambique will be one of the foremost hotels in this beautiful country and Steel Studio International is proud to be associated with an organisation of this magnitude.
Makro Head Office – Johannesburg – Balustrade value R1 Million One of our many stainless steel balustrade designs includes Makro’s new multi-story head-office that towers over Sunninghill with countless stainless steel balcony railings fitted by our professional teams.
Investec - KwaZulu Natal – Balustrade value R0.8 Million After installing the balustrades at Investec Cape Town, Pretoria and Johannesburg, Steel Studio International were honoured to be selected to install the frameless glass balustrade designs at the new Investec office in Umhlanga.
